Vikrama.

AI deserves better than experiments.

We're an AI systems studio. We design AI for the decisions that run your business. Not chatbots. Not demos. Working systems that ship.

Born from experience.
Named for courage.

Thirteen years building products in fintech, healthcare, and enterprise. The same mistake everywhere: companies buying AI tools before they'd figured out what problem they were solving. New models getting plugged into broken workflows. Millions spent on automation that just made bad decisions happen faster.

We started Vikrama because we kept seeing smart teams get this wrong, and we think we know why. Most AI work starts with the technology. We start with the decision.

Vikrama

The word means courage and decisive action in Sanskrit.

We picked it because this work takes nerve. Telling a client their $2M AI roadmap needs to be scrapped takes nerve. Saying "you don't need a model, you need a better process" takes nerve. Building for production when everyone else is shipping demos takes nerve.

That's what Vikrama means to us.

What we stand for

Ship to production, not to a slide deck.

Start with the decision, not the model.

If we can't measure it, we don't ship it.

Your system, your IP. We build it, you own it.

No vendor lock-in. No black boxes.

No 90-day "discovery phases" that discover nothing.

Three convictions that
shape everything we build.

01
The market says

"Start with the model. Pick the best AI. Integrate fast."

We believe

We always ask "what decision are you trying to improve?" before we ask "what data do you have?" Sounds obvious, but almost nobody does it. Most AI projects fail because the team picked the model before they understood the problem.

02
The market says

"Automate everything. Replace humans. Cut costs."

We believe

The goal isn't to remove humans from the loop. It's to make their judgment better. We build systems where AI handles the heavy lifting (pattern matching, data crunching, first-pass analysis) but a person still makes the call. Because when something goes wrong, "the AI decided" isn't an answer.

03
The market says

"Ship a pilot. Show the demo. Prove the concept."

We believe

We don't do pilots that sit in a slide deck for six months. If it's worth building, it's worth shipping to real users with real data and real stakes. Half the AI projects out there are science experiments that never leave the lab. We'd rather build fewer things that actually run.

Three rules we don't break.

01

Decisions before data

Every engagement starts with the same question: what decisions are you trying to make better? Not what data you have, not what model you want, but what decision. If we can't connect the work back to a real business decision, we pass on the project.

02

Systems over tools

A tool in isolation doesn't change anything. We build the whole thing: the data pipeline, the workflow, the guardrails, the interface, the feedback loop. It has to fit into how your team already works, or it'll collect dust within three months.

03

Production or nothing

We don't build things that only work in a demo. Real users, messy data, edge cases, someone's VPN dropping mid-workflow. That's what production looks like. We design for that from day one, not as an afterthought.

AI that sharpens decisions at work. Not AI for the sake of AI. Not AI to impress a board. AI that actually changes how things get done.
Our Mission

Build AI systems around the decisions that actually run a business

Move teams from "we're experimenting with AI" to "AI is part of how we work"

Make sure every system we build is something the team trusts and keeps using

Let's figure out what's possible.

30 minutes. No pitch deck. No obligation.
Just a conversation about your hardest problem.
